Did you see the Grammy’s Sunday night? Adele took home a bunch of Grammy’s…including best record AND best album. And do you know what she said?
“This record is inspired by something that is really normal and everyone has been through it, just a rubbish relationship…and it’s gone on to do things I can’t tell you….it’s been the most life changing year….”
Now, I don’t claim to know Adele…but from the outside looking in, it doesn’t seem like she wasted this crisis. I can’t imagine she was sitting on the couch too long feeding her sorrow with a box of chocolate.
She made an album……..from….her….soul.
And we can feel the words and music, because we’ve all had a rubbish relationship. It’s real, it’s passion, it’s courage, it’s sadness…and it’s hope.
Adele my dear, Happy Valentines Day…and thank you for sharing your rubbish relationship with the world! Give it a listen….Rolling in the Deep

Never Waste a Good Crisis

For more than 15 years, Missy got paid to believe in people as a successful human resources professional for very large U.S. businesses. Then she threw her life into a tailspin, on purpose, as she left her job and began a search for something deeper. Today, one of the things that matters most to her is inspiring others to let gratitude for the things that matter most – people – set the course for their lives.
Loved this! I had heard Rolling in the Deep on the radio, but after her performance on Sunday I bought the “album”. It’s now on my laptop, iP-gadgets. I made my family listen to it last night and all, including my 4 1/2 year daughter were be-bopping to the song. She is an amazing talent and good for her for not wasting a rubbish relationship!
